I started to re-enter the weaving craft world a little over 2 years ago. It had been sum of 15 years since I had used a weaving loom. So it has been a great learning experience all over again. I attend and sell at many vendor shows through out Northeastern Wisconsin area, especially during the holiday seasons, to sell my craft.
I weave on a Kessenich Floor Loom and have a homemade twine loom. I use different materials, such as bed sheets, cotton and fleece fabrics and wool yarns for rugs and mats.
The towels I hand weave are made with 100% cotton yarns at all times. Very durable and wash/dryer friendly.
I hand weave table runners and wall hangings, most of them are designed by using the Saori Style method. So the yarn fibers can be from many sources from raw fibers to synthetics.
