This world-class music and arts festival features Gary Sheldon and the Lancaster Festival Orchestra, winners of the American Prize for Conducting and Orchestral Performance (professional orchestra division). Indoor and outdoor venues are used to present artists and events during these ten days, most with free admission. The Lancaster Festival was the recipient of the Ohio Governor’s Award for the Arts in Community Development and Participation.
