Lands End Woodland, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to land conservancy and historical preservation. It is the oldest African American land owners association founded in the 1920's by a group of formerly enslaved African Americans. Our mission is to preserve hundreds of acres of land and beachfront property for the recreational enjoyment of future generations and for the community. The site is used for bird watching, fishing, hunting, camping, and outdoor recreational activities. An annual festival is held to celebrate the Gullah heritage of its founders and descendants.
