Laura Baron was a 2007 and 2008 Mid-Atlantic Song Contest Gold Award Winner in the Jazz/Blues Category. Laura is known for her rich, passionate vocals and her moving and provocative original compositions. She moves easily from jazz to Bossa nova to blues to her roots in contemporary folk. Her newest CD, Scenes From The Avenue was recently reviewed by the Washington Post.
