I've always loved to work with my hands and create pretty things. First, I was a musician....singing folk and gospel tunes and accompanying myself on the guitar. Then I took some classes in quilting and a new creative outlet was born. I made many quilts in various forms and then began wandering creatively again. This time to jewelry making. Again taking classes and enthusiastically coming up with new projects....all the while continuing with my first and second "loves"....making music and quilting. Again, while laid up after surgery I got on You Tube and saw an adorable baby dress to crochet. I had some yarn in the house so I thought I would see how far I could get with it. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the project was pretty easy and I was able to complete it without any difficulties. And that is where I am today. Choosing which creative outlet I would like to work with on any given day and producing an appealing, quality gift that is a treasure to keep.
