Liberty Dog’s usually cater to the Armed forces, Police and Fire Department functions. We primarily service March ARB in Moreno Valley. We are looking to expand our service to the surrounding areas, festivals, farmers markets and street fairs.
Liberty Dog’s are never boiled! Ours are simmered, usually with chopped onion added. Simmering means bringing the liquid to the temperature at which steam rises from the surface, but not so hot that it bubbles. Boiling will cause the casings to burst.
Liberty Dog’s are usually eaten outdoors. It's not at all unusual to eat them standing up, or even while strolling. Brats, Polish Sausage and Hot Dogs are a social food. You surround yourself with people you like, sip a cold drink and mill around conversing with your friends as you eat. General rule, No knife and fork or cloth napkins are needed.
Typical condiments outstate include any combination of a cold drink, chips, chopped onion, sauerkraut, ketchup, and mustard.
