Linda Bull, Troy, MI
I began crocheting as a young girl and would make vests, Christmas items as gifts for my family members. I didn't crochet for a while, and then I was blessed with a granddaughter which made me decide to begin crocheting, sewing and also making my own jewelry and soaps.
I was lucky to retire at a very young age, and this is how I spend my spare time. My husband built a craft room and sewing room for me and I just love being in either room. Once I get started, sometimes I can't stop.
I tumble my own stones which I have collected from my various travels & incorporate these into most of my pieces. Everything I create is original and made with much integrity to be the perfect piece, no matter how small or how big. I do my best to be the best at the items I create. I am currently crocheting sun dresses for this summer. Just waiting for my material to arrive to finish my first pattern. I am hopiing to have 3 or 4 different styles available by then. I am a beginner compared to a lot of artists out there. But I am my own creator and it feels good when I am finished with a piece. If it doesn't feel good. I start over.
