It all began in Boston when I was a college studing to get my BS in Education.  Barnes and Noble bookstore opened in downtown Boston.  In the craft section, I always dabbled in a lot of crafts, I found a book on leatherwork.  In the it mentioned 2 leather companies in South Station area of Boston.  The next day I took the subway there and bought my first leather supplies at Seigel Leather .  The first item I made was a leather vest which I still wear today.  The other leather company mentioned sold some of the leather tools to carve and stamp designs and so it began.  That was in 1978.
My nature scenes reflect my love of the outside world and its animal inhabitants.  I started carving pictures which reflect the beauty of New Hampshires majectic mountains and the tranquility of it lakes and rivers and the moose, deer, loons, bear, eagles that live hear.
I soon branched off to create a rainforest collection and a polar collection of animals.
My hand stamped designs are created by me, frequently at craft shows demonstrations.  I also teach classes and workshops for camps, scouts, parties and at craft shows!
