My grandfather started a retail lumber yard in 1946. My father and uncle took over the business in 1964. I started working there at age thirteen. In 1998 I started my own carpentry business. I do custom interior trim, remodeling, renovation work, shop work. I started Michaels Wood Creations in 2008. We make handmade wood pens, clocks, cutting boards, bowls, grinders, etc. All of our products are handmade by me one at a time and not massed produced.
