M. R. Hudon has been working with wood well before taking shop classes in High School. He spent a little time as an apprentice to a Master Cabinet Maker, learned a few things from his Grand Father, but most of his skills have been self taught by trial and error over the years. His skills and portfolio vary from a complete kitchen, to games and puzzles, heirloom boxes and chests, bucket benches, wall mirrors, writing desks and Windsor chairs. He prefers the early American period and continually looks for practical everyday wooden items from the past to reproduce.
