Huntsville, AL - We believe music soars within similar to a rocket. Fitting parallel for the joyful noises coming out of the rocket city summer solstice as Make Music Huntsville gears up for year 2. We were pleased with last year's attendance and performances and expect to easily double the interest in 2018 with more great venues and performers in this year's lineup.
The Stickmasters of Huntsville Community Drumline are once again opening up their spacious practice studio to welcome the community for bucket drumming instructions and performances which will always be a crowd favorite as these kids are talented and can be seen at other high profile events year-round throughout the community. In addition to the floor performances they do typically end up outside showing off their standard along with the fancy footwork that accompanies the band. Angela Walker and her team have something to be proud of for their hard work.
We are also this year welcoming several newcomers one of which is Chelesa, Who? whose soulful renditions of music we all know and love and are especially drawn to during times of relationship turmoil is great to bring the audience into the performance singing along and remembering the moments when love leads you to question the value of the relationship you are in. You will quickly find yourself swaying and singing to the music.
Make Music Huntsville's lineup includes mass appeals, street studio, Sousapalooza, carpool karaoke and much more. Venues and performers are signing up now through June 20th and a full list of 2018 performances is available to print out or accompany you as you motor around the city on June 21st. Because there will be pops of music all throughout the day with performances lasting as little as 15 minutes you will want to map out the events you want to see and be there to enjoy the music.
