Ever since I can remember, I've had a true passion for creating things with needles and thread. As a young girl of 5, I remember sitting by my grandmother's side as she shared her knowledge of crochet and embroidery with me. This memory and her peace still inspire my art today. I love to create pieces with combinations of stitches, colors and textures that stimulates the senses and evokes a sense of home. I use recycled fabric in my rag rugs and sewing and a new ball of yarn still excites me.
