Mark Blomsteel was born and raised in the Netherlands and after being the number 1 singer/songwriter on the popular website myspace he was invited by music industry veteran Fred Vail (The Beach Boys) to record at his studio treasure isle in Nashville, TN.
After recording 3 albums and touring Europe as well as winning 5 dutch CMA awards, he finally decided to focus his attention on his new home, the USA!
In April 2019 Mark released 'burning old bridges', a diverse album that received great reviews and had his single, “Someone Somewhere Tonight” featured on both radio and TV.
After doing shows in clubs and theaters as well as festivals in 2019 Mark and his Michigan based band are looking to build on their success in the new year. Mark Blomsteel and his band were scheduled to tour and perform in Europe for 2 weeks in March. Unfortunately, the Covid pandemic put a halt to that and many scheduled tour dates were cancelled.
Mark spent the last year writing new songs and recording his 4th album at Treasure Isle Recording Studio in Nashville, Tennesse. The same studio where Jason Aldean, Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton and many other great music artists have recorded. Mark's album will be released in the summer or fall of 2021.
Mark Blomsteel and his band have a history of supporting different charities such as suicide prevention and St Judes Children's hospital. They'll be touring the 50 states to help bring awareness to Autism later this year
