Singer, songwriter, guitar and harmonica player has spent 41 years performing with Mud Bay Band as a guitarist singer and songwriter crossing paths and sharing stages with Stevie Ray Vaughn, James Cotton, Albert Collins, Koko Taylor, Long John Baldry as well as Canadian bluesmen Jim Byrnes, Big Dave Mclean and the late Dutch Mason. Writer, performer on 5 Mud Bay studio albums.
This century...
Mark's 1st solo album "Grandview". The indie released album was co-produced with Melissa Bandura, pd Wohl and Jesse Waldman. The album features songs pop, country, rock, blues R&B and folk songs written from an East Vancouver perspective exploring human and world conditions. Music from the album has been found in film and TV.
2018 – Gravel-Aires Album " National Avenue” released, an all acoustic roots record featuring 14 original songs independently produced in Vancouver. Mark currently performs with The Gravel-Aires, Mud Bay and as a solo artist
