Matthew Morgan and the Family Band is the newest incarnation of the folk/Americana singer songwriter who has made his mark playing outstanding shows throughout the Midwest and southern states. The six piece ensemble is a fusion of upbeat, hopeful folk combined with progressive rock that sets itself apart through impeccable musicianship, diverse instrumentation, and strong three-part harmonies in concert with Morgan's highly regarded song writing. A hard working troubadour, his former appearances include SXSW, and Chicago's Taste of Lincoln Avenue and he's shared the stage with the likes of Company of Thieves, and Dave Davies of the Kinks.
