Teaming up with songwriting virtuoso Marcus Lohrmann, MattyCef co-founded the indie rock & roll band Buckman Page in 2005 while attending Valparaiso University. Buckman Page enjoyed local success after their move to Chicago in 2009. Following the hiatus of his beloved Buckman Page in 2012, Matty then joined forces with front-porch folk-rockers Distant Brothers (Dan Beirne, Ryan Burns, Tommy Grevlos) until their hiatus in 2020.
