As a jeweler and designer the inspiration behind my work comes from the intricate forms and patterns of the natural world and from ancient and traditional design motifs based on nature, with some of my recent designs inspired by the censers used in many religious ceremonies. The use of silver and its luster is intended to elevate the repetition and negative space within my work, much like the way light reflects within many architectural forms. I strive to create innovative, and well-crafted jewelry that utilizes line, repetition, and pattern, to generate a sense of dynamic visual movement.
