A tradition that was born out of necessity during the Civil War, continuing to be celebrated out of tradition in McClure, Snyder County PA. Celebrating its 129th year, the festival/fair looks much different from the old days including amusement rides, entertainment, pageant, contests, demonstrations and food other than Bean Soup.
