all my items are homemade by me! I make tote bags, backpacks, purses, sewn items, (bowl cozies, hot iron holders), macrame wall hangings, plant hangers, small macrame items such as coasters and ornaments, soaps, scrubs, body butters, repurposed glass/crystal, I love making homemade items, always trying new ideas, so may have new items coming out in the future!
I started by making crystal/glass bird feeders for my self, gradually started making them bigger, using different glass wear. This soon led me to making garden decor such as mushrooms out of glass wear as well, then bird baths, these have become more beautiful and artsy. Some of my customers have told me they're too pretty to have outside. They have them in the home as decor, one in the entry way on a table, another on the lanai in Florida ( a pink flamingo topped bath), as well as others. I often use Murano glass when I can find it, it's just so colorful and uniquely beautiful. (I'm not currently making the larger glass/crystal items since moving to Texas due to less room in my home to store the crystal)
Other things I love making are soaps, scrubs, body butters and bath bombs! I love to make them beautiful, to make the wonderful scents using essential oils and sometimes fragrances.
I have purchased many homemade soaps and used many bath bombs, I thought, I bet I can make those even better than the ones I buy....I can! And I can and do make them to order. When a friend or customer requests I try a certain scent, or use a certain ingredient such as goat milk or tea tree, I will make that my next batch!
I love to help others, I'm a nurse in “real life”. These are my hobbies, hobbies that I enjoy greatly! But I do try to help others, if there is a medical benefit or even just a relaxation element to a certain essential oil, and someone wants to incorporate it into a soap, lotion or whatever, I certainly will try my best to provide this for them!
My husband is currently painting with watercolors. I recently have included some of his “creations”. He paints a variety of things. I love the nature themes-dragonflies, florals etc. but he paints many other things, as well.
my daughter crochets, in my last show I had a few of her crocheted items-such as a birthday cake, a jelly fish, a cactus and more!
