Making art has been my favorite thing since I was a child. I have done many different media over the years. This past year I have been doing mosaic art in my home studio. I love the play of light on the tiles, and enjoy that each project creates a different process and set of challenges. The way the final grouting creates a reveal of the piece; determed by the colors, spacing, and medium. It takes a lot of time and planning. A meditation of bits and pieces, a very zen experience.
