Michael McCall BIO Hailing from Washington State, singer songwriter Michael McCall is no stranger to the South and its eclectic musical stylings. He was transplanted from Washington to South Mississippi at a young age. There he was introduced to the sounds of some of the greatest blues musicians of all time. Although, being a child of the 80's and 90's, he latched onto some music at a very young age and believes that is his true calling. A sneak peak of his playlist would reveal a lot of Dwight Yoakam, Jason Isbell, Waylon Jennings, Oatis Redding, John Mellencamp, Bryan Adams, etc. Throw a dash of new country, a sprinkle of late 80's and 90's hits a healthy dose of classic rock of yesteryear, a side of originals and you'll get a good idea of what his setlist looks like.
Michael has been playing music for the majority of his life. He comes from a very talented family of musicians. Michael may have inherited great guitar chops and vocal skills, but he developed a songwriting style of his very own. With a very large country influence, there are also hints of great singer songwriter lyrics, flavorful melodies, driving rock rhythms and pulsing pop rock drums. He is currently working on a record and is expected to release sometime this summer.
