Miguel Borbolla, Artista de Repujado, has exhibited in Southern California since 1998 at venues like the Art-A-Fair and Sawdust Winter Fantasy in Laguna Beach as well as the Hermosa Beach Art Walk and many other local shows! Originally from Veracruz, Mexico, "repujado" is the Spanish translation of "repousse" or the technique of working metal from the reverse side and pressing outward to create low-relief images in metals like tin, copper and aluminum. His artwork is then presented not just in traditional framing and matting, but also in molded concrete stone and other creative mediums. Check his website and Facebook page for upcoming shows!
