I am a retired high end kitchen and bath designer who stumbled on the art of wire wrapping. I was fascinated with the process and took many courses from Dale "Cougar" Armstrong. I had so much fun making items, and was so prolific that I had to find an outlet. Thus, Mint Spring's Designs was born. I participate in mostly juried fine art shows up and down the east coast, but am trying to stay within a day's drive of Virginia, as age is creeping up on me and those two day trips each way are getting too hard. I work in only sterling and gold filled wire of various shapes and gauges. This forms the framework for each piece and contains the stones (both precious and semi-precious), cabochons and found objects. Found objects would include such things as arrowheads, pottery shards, vintage pins, etc.. My finished products include necklaces, bracelets, earrings, pendants, rings and pins.
