My biggest joy in life is to see the look of awe and excitement in the eyes of those that like my work. After hours of cutting, shaping, gluing, sanding and finishing, it's so satisfying to see the smile and twinkle of approval in the eyes of my customers. It's not about the money at all, it's about sharing the beauty of Gods creation. Creating art from the natural beauty of a tree is so soothing to my soul. I'm a lover of nature. It's hard to describe. I know the Lord speaks to me when I create my woodcrafts. No two pieces look the same. Each species of wood has its own unique color and grain pattern. The unique grain and color from exotic trees found from around the world is equally amazing. Before I even work on a piece, I look at the wood first for it's approval. The wood tells me what it shale become. Salt & Pepper Mill, Jewelry box or maybe a simple cutting board. The wood decides what it wants to be.
