The Mountain and Valley Wool Association (MAVWA) produces the annual Mountain and Valley Fiber Arts Festival (formerly the Mountain and Valley Wool Festival, and The Taos Wool Festival), which attracts thousands of visitors from across the country.
Our mission is to promote fiber from all fiber bearing animals—especially those in the US Southwest, as well as other natural fibers—and to pass on the rich history of fiber arts-related crafts to the next group of fiber enthusiasts.
We are always looking to expand our offerings with new Vendors.
