My name is John Lapides, I create cartoons on paper and in clay. Whether you're looking for a Sculpted Vase or a Face Mug, we've got options for you. Each piece is a handmade original seeking a loving imagination to grow in. My Cartoon Lab is intended to inspire you to create, and to see the beauty and potential around you. I also enjoy bringing seeing my pieces out in the world, practically living a life in their new environments. Some of the pieces can be very judgmental or even scornful, while other pieces contain nothing but low brow humor or attempts at cleverness... I tend to let inspiration guide me.
