I can't help but see the Silhouettes of bigger, beautiful touchstone pieces begging to be crafted for outfits that didn't want to settle.
Many people agree that jewelry, as its known, is due for a revolution from the oversupply of metallic and mundane so boring that its value is merely appraised by the cost of materials from which they're made. Can you imagine if anything else was valued this way?
It became therapeutic for me to me liberate bashful colors and repurpose bold and beautiful materials into something that demanded attention, then rewarded it's admirers with wander.
Friends and family would notice my fancy flare and home accents and ask for ideas about how to complete their own outfits. I have truly loved every minute of it. I'm not saying I was called to do this . . . . . . . . But there were definitely whispers.
Now, it's a way to connect with family through creativity and contribute to my larger community with crafty keepsakes and custom orders for anything outside the box. Because nobody likes the box anyway.
