When I came across several albums of my grandparents' photos about20 years ago, I decided they should be preserved. So I collected half a dozen and took them to a photo restoration shop and had them restored. They looked awful! It was then that I decided that their memories should be preserved properly and that I would do it. After some crash courses in digital photo restoration, I felt ready to try my hand at preserving my family's memories. My restorations were so successfuI I realized that after restoration, they could be mounted on cards, embellished with ephemera and sometimes various sayings, and that some of them lent themselves to event celebration cards...And, best of all, with my 'photo people' I'm never alone!
