Native Spirit Designs- Amarillo, TX
I was born and raised in Oklahoma and had lots of friends who were Native Americans, mostly Cherokee. I collected Native American items until I went to South Dakota where an elderly Sioux lady took me to her workshop and spent all day showing me how to make dreamcatchers. From then on I stated to make my own. People saw them and wanted me to make some to sell.I did real well and started to do shows. I always sold out. I then started looking at pictures of breastplates, jewelry, and ceremonial dance sticks and created my own. I have since expanded my items. I now sell dreamcatchers to the gift shop at Palo Duro State Park.
