Looking for an exciting, fun alternative to the same old, same old out there? Naughty Humphrey strives to separate from the pack. We play popular covers from the 60's thru today, but we resurrect those lost classics that have been overlooked and forgotten. And you'll be glad we did. With literally THOUSANDS of classic songs to choose from over music's illustrious history, why settle on the same tired songs over and over again? You're far too creative and brilliant for that! Naughty Humphrey will rock your favorite classics unabashedly!

Naughty Humphrey's unique and original approach works fantastically well for anyone looking to have an unforgettable party of a lifetime. We specialize in corporate events, weddings, private parties, nightclubs, festivals, grand openings, and any other venue looking for a fresh, dynamic, and impactful event.  We are consummate professionals who live and breathe music and enjoy making people happy. And, like musical empaths, we feed off the positive vibes and energy our crowds deliver, so you'll find NO sleepwalking here!

The band is composed of 4 band members/multi-instrumentalists, all trading off lead vocal duties as well as super tight 3 part harmonies.

Peter McCulloch (Bass/vocals): The VOICE of Naughty Humphrey, Peter's powerful 4 ½ octave range allows NH to perform songs few other bands will attempt. His boundless energy and "chameleonic" vocalizations have always delivered an unforgettable performance. Peter's a 30 year seasoned veteran of the music industry who has utilized his unique talents in a wide variety of endeavors. First success came in the 80's with the original Brooklyn-based hard rock outfit, Tora!, a popular band in heavy rotation at NJ's own WSOU 89.5FM,  and landing a monthly house gig at Brooklyn's famous L'Amours rock club. In the 90's, he shaved his mullet and became the principal singer/songwriter of his own original, "Alterna-Pop-N-Roll" outfit, This Island Earth, charting nationwide with 3 indy releases and opening for the likes of The English Beat, 10,000 Maniacs, and Modern English. He has since fronted or served as bassist for various cover/wedding bands, and has also performed on dozens of jingles, voice-overs, and voice characterizations for film, TV, and radio (Most recently for The Cartoon Network's, "The Venture Bros." series and WLIR 92.7FM).

Wayne Post (Guitar/vocals)Long considered one of the premier guitarists in the Tri state area, Wayne first picked up a guitar at the age 12. Music totally eclipsed his love for sports, so out went sports and in came idolizing players like Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Jimi Hendrix. His first stint on the road was playing in an Atlanta, Georgia based cover band, Odyssey. Next stop on his musical journey was in Muscle Shoals, Alabama in the late 70's joining forces with Lenny LeBlanc.  LaBlanc and Pete Carr had a hit ballad called, “Falling”. He then worked and recorded with Australian singer Samantha Sang whose hit song “Emotion” was written by Barry & Robin Gibb. In the 80's he returned to Jersey to join United Artist's Billy Falcon Group touring and recording as a member of the band. In the mid 80's Wayne became a member of the GW All-Stars, which was acclaimed WDHA's band of the year. A strong 2nd lead vocalist, he spent 10 years with the well-respoected GW All Stars and has spent the last 20 or so years with the likes of local favorites Tropical Storm, Shakey Ground, and various other major groups before helping to form Naughty Humphrey.

Gary Georgett (Keys/vocals): Next up is Gary Georgett. A graduate of the prestigious Berklee School of Music, Gary toured internationally for 6 years with French superstar Serge Gainsbourg.  A founding member of the GW All Stars, a tri state super band for more than 10 years,  Gary works full-time these days as a Producer in his recording studio. He also works as a keyboard programmer and keyboard sound designer for many Broadway musicals and tours and has worked on hundreds of shows. Notable is Hairspray, Ragtime, Phantom Of The Opera, and A Christmas Story. Tours include The Grinch that stole Christmas, Legally Blond, A Chorus Line, A Christmas Story, and The Producers. He spent the last 12 years playing with Tropical Storm and other well-known local bands.

Chris Cygan (Drums/vocals)Chris has anchored more great bands in Northern New Jersey than he can remember...but he'll try. He has been performing professionally for over 3 decades, playing with local favorties Tropical Storm, Blues Elixir, Uncle John's Band, and the Barry McArdle Band, and backing acts such as Phoebe Snow and The David Letterman Band. Chris also fronted the Illegitimate Sons of the Blues Brothers in the 90's with his partner Scott Assael, playing the role of Elwood Blues made famous by John Belushi. A multi-talented musician, his dynamic and musical drumming style adds depth and groove to each NH song. He is also a talented songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist, presently in the studio recording his original release “5th Street View”.
