New Life Animal Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned animals, primarily special needs dogs and cats from high-kill shelters and owners who can no longer care for them.
By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, local veterinarians, and trainers, we will be able to rescue hundreds of animals every year, provide them with loving temporary care, house-training and basic obedience, vaccinate and spay/neuter, and find them well-matched, carefully screened forever homes.
We will also serve as a resource to our local and internet community and all pet owners by providing education and information on responsible pet ownership, including the importance of spay/neuter, positive behavior training, and good nutrition.
We believe that a boarding kennel is no place for a loving, social creature like a dog to live for an extended period of time. All of our rescued animals are fostered in a home with a family, unless they require continuous veterinary care before being placed in a home. They are spayed or neutered before adoption, micro-chipped, behavior-evaluated, and up to date on all vaccinations.
