OH70 is a 7 piece all star jazz band comprised of professional teachers/players from the Mid-Ohio area. We speacialize in jazz standards, jazz blues and Latin swing. We perform contemporary arrangements from the Great American Song Book, taking our audiance on a trip through the sounds of the golden age of jazz, up unto it's present day incarnation.
The group is endowed with a vast array of talents and styles allowing us great versatility with our approach to performance and entertainment, allowing us to stand out by providing a service provided by few these days.
We feature a trumpet, trombone, clarinet, lead section backed up by a swinging rhythm section of guitar, keys, upright bass and skins. Our sound is envigorating and hip, yet laid back and authentic. We dig sharing our love of the music with everyone we encounter.
We look forward to performing all over the Mid-Ohio area as often as possible, showcasing OH70's eclectic brand of music.
