I started the One World Candle Company with the idea that I could repurpose wine bottles that would otherwise be thrown in the trash, while at the same time raise money for animal shelters. I collect wine bottle from various local restaurants, friends, neighbors and family. I cut the bottles and make each candle by hand, so no two candle are ever exactly the same. I like to think of them as "perfectly imperfect". Each one is a 50% soy, 50% paraffin blend, and should burn for 55-60 hours. A portion of the proceeds from each candle sold is donated to a local animal shelter. I have a wide variety of fragrances, including aromatherapy, and custom orders are always welcome.
