The Painted Hills Festival takes place in Mitchell Oregon, situated just 9 miles from the Painted Hills National Monument in Central Oregon. The Fest falls on the first Saturday of September and includes a 10k marathon, musicians, artists, vendors, a quilt show as well as spectator events, contests, beer garden and family entertainment.
