Hi everyone! My name is Sheila Cannon! Let me tell you a little about myself before we get started and I would LOVE for you to tell us a little about you!! In January or 2020 I was diagnosed with End Stage Kidney Failure. By March of 2020 I was put on dialysis. I put myself on the Donor list for a new kidney, but I had to lose ALOT of weight, so in Sept of 2020 I had Gastric Sleeve Surgery. I immediately started losing weight. I went on Disability which doesn't pay that much. So, we eliminated all eating out at restaurants to help keep expenses down. It was then that I truly realized how much I enjoy cooking. It's just Myself, my husband and my mother (who I take care of) living in the house, so we decided to start portioning down our foods, to cut out as much leftovers as possible.
My "fulltime job" is teaching CPR for American Red Cross and American Heart Association but financially it wasn't cutting it for me. In September of 2023 I started looking for ways to supplement my income and was invited to a Pampered Chef Online Party. I had a BLAST!! I spoke to the consultant and signed on IMMEDIATELY!!
