In my art I search for the doorway that has been blocked by the conscious mind to dig deeper into the dark recesses of the unconscious. As humans we hide within ourselves that which we fear and do not understand, we darken the parts of thought that we are told are not acceptable, however we in essence become the darkness we try to bury.
