Pickin' on the Plains Bluegrass Festival began in 1997. Held annually on the first weekend in June, in Colby, KS (located on I-70 approx. 45 mins. from the Colorado and Nebraska borders), we feature a wide variety of internationally acclaimed bluegrass artists as well as favorite regional bands. A large, sun blocking canopy provides shade for the audience. Food/merchandise vendors, kids' activities, open stage, bluegrass gospel homecoming.
