Jennifer Pedley began her lifelong love of photography at the age of 18 when, for high school graduation, she was gifted her first Pentax manual camera and three lenses. She learned the art and science of photography by reading, experimenting and then trying again. She appreciates the days of film when you only got 36 chances to "get it right."
After 25 in the field of social worker, Jennifer decided to turn her hobby into a business venture. Picture 1000 Words Media was born in 2017 and has flourished. Jennifer especially loves shooting sports, theater, pets, and events. Her non-people favorites to shoot are landscapes, architecture and modern textures. She has done commercial work for Mod Pizza, Row4Kids, Let It Be Christmas, and numerous not-for-profit organizations. Jennifer feels passionate about using her photography for good including donating her time and talents to deserving organizations.
