Picture Book Studio features the art and illustrations of Valerie Lesiak who lived and designed in the greeting card world of American Greetings for 39 years. Her art is whimsical in nature and also features a gallery of whimsically illustrated letters which she calls Alphabet Soup. Although her art career started in the BC, before computer, Val evolved into a digital illustrator at American Greetings. All of her art is printed on canvas with 11 colors, hand coated for preservation of color, hand cut and stretched on 1.5" stretcher bars to allow for art along the sides of each piece as well as to reduce cost of framing.
