Plains Presbyterian church is a conservative, but progressive, Christian-based faith church that has been promoting Crist to the community since 1806. It was the first church in Cranberry Township and continue to be a fundamental faith home for the area. The members perform a variety of Christian missions including support of the Evan City Food Bank, Christian-based preschool and missions abroad, most recently to Nepal.
