American roots music artist and International award winning song writer, Tommy Hogan, is originally from the southwest and was surrounded by music very early on, he was compelled to music and honed his craft early on and is a self taught, bass, guitar and harmonica player and soulful vocalist and performer. After being enthralled into music as a young boy in the southwest parts of America, Tommy since established himself as a solid artist in the music industry as an industry, award winning musician, songwriter and front man. With pro touring experience and by playing hundreds of show dates from region to region, Tommy has steadily built a wide legion fan base and has developed a solid foundation. Tommy has received and been nominated for many prestigious music industry awards, including a "Muddy Award" for "Best New Act 2011- Portland, OR, An International Award for the Blues Foundation (Memphis, TN), for "Best Self Produced CD (top 20 Best Internationally), in 2012 was a 1st place winner in the International Blues Challenge, Eastern, WA, in 2013 Tommy was nominated "Best Regional Act"- Cascade Blues Association (Portland, OR) and most recently 2014, Tommy Hogan's original song "Howl Like The Wind" was selected as a winner and semi-finalist, in the International Song Writing Competition, beating out over 19,000 other submitted songs from song writers from around the world. Not bad for an artist who just hit industry stages in 2010, but most importantly Tommy Hogan packs a hard hitting modern and traditional style combination sound of original songs, an explosive and passionate presentation and performance of blazing guitar, wailing harmonica, booming- smooth vocals, backed by a professional rhythm section of bass and drums.
