I have been a photographer most of my life. Only recently have I begun using a technique called intentional camera motion. This technique produces abstract images that appear to be paintings. What is amazing about these photos is that no two images produce the exact same result.
People often ask - what is that? That might be the Grand Canyon, the Painted Desert, aspen trees in the fall, or some other natural location. I love to visit national parks and am learning to use another technique called small scenes. This will develop over time, but so far I have one image of which I am especially enamored. It is a close up of a barrel cactus.
I have worked in several career fields and am a published author. I recently retired from the field of psychology where I specialized in work with transgender and gender nonbinary people. I am still writing and expect my fourth book to be out in the summer of 2022.
