People often ask me why I only make preserves during the spring and summer. That's easy to answer. I only make them then because produce is in-season and at its freshest during that time. Once the season has passed, I do not make preserves until spring and summer returns. Believe me, discerning pallets can taste the difference between let's say fresh in-season peaches and those that are picked too early and are not really sweet. Another thing, none of my preserves contain artificial preservatives. Why would you want to eat food with names you cannot pronounce? Preservatives may help the jars stay on the shelf longer but I think once you open one of my jars, you will devour the contents pretty quickly anyway! If you don't believe me, try a jar and see for yourself! Here are some happy and very satisfied customers.
