details: Hand carved in natural leather, the dragon's body is made up from a mixture of geometric shapes and flowing, irregular objects swirling up from a center point. The gradation of green shades adds to the complexity and subtle beauty, mixing the hard geometry with the flowing lines and softer aspects. The mottled dark tan background gives a sense of depth, body, and mystery. It is suspended in a hand made ambrosia maple frame specific for the piece. The frame was shaped to have very few flat spots. Rather it undulates with bumps and curves, inviting you to look at the entire piece from different angles and run your fingers over it.
