I have worked as an Occupational Therapist for 25 years. I enjoy using my creative skills to design and build many tools to help my clients live a healthier life. In 2001 I began to design and build rehabilitation tools out of wood and sold them to Physical and Occupational Therapists. During that time, I bought a wood lathe and became fascinated with what I was able to create using the lathe. Over the next 15 years I developed a style that I incorporate into my products that uses the natural beauty of the woods with ergonomic designs to help support and protect the fingers. I use exotic woods from around the world, combine them, shape them and apply a home made finish to them, which results in a unique, one-of-a-kind, functional piece.
