Raintree Designs, Purvis, MS

Raintree Designs is based at Raintree Farm in northern Lamar County, near the Midway Community in southeast Mississippi.  After 25 years in medical device sales, founder William Dixon is fulfilling his dream of self-expression through quality craftsmanship. His life-long love of tools and attention to detail has resulted in a high demand for his work. In 2012, William began to offer his practical works of art to the public by designing a line of quality writing instruments.  In this digital age of keyboards and touch pads, we've forgotten the satisfaction felt when writing with a quality fountain or ball tipped pen.  The connection of hand to paper through a great pen is something to be desired and a tradition to be treasured.

In the spring of 2014, Raintree Designs will be creating and producing a line of wooden outdoor furniture.  The designs, while inspired and influenced by the traditional Adirondack chair, will reflect changes that express William's love and respect for his southern upbringing and lifestyle.
