Our Story:
During the Christmas season of 2012 Dawn Poland went on a mission. She wanted to give up smoking but knew she couldn't give up nicotine cold turkey. She found Blu cigarettes first, but they were less than satisfying. Later she found a store where she bought an Ego starter kit and some flavored juices at 24 mg. nicotine. That made all the difference. She quit smoking cigarettes altogether and this impressed her husband Ken so much that he decided to follow in her footsteps. Ken said, "If she can do this I can too as I smoke less than she did."
They both got excited about the Ego cigarettes and each time they bought new supplies they began to step down on the amount of nicotine they would need with their flavors. E cigarettes worked well for them as an alternative to smoking, plus they no longer had to ingest all the tar and chemicals found in tobacco products. They saved loads of money each month that they formerly spent on cigarettes.
Ken and Dawn were so excited about quitting smoking and stepping down on the amount of nicotine they used that they converted most of their family and friends who were smokers to using e cigarettes also, including their nephew Josh, who was a Marine recently returned from Afghanistan. Ken and Dawn began wondering if they could mix their own flavors and the rest is history.
Now they have their own E cigs business, Raven's Eye Vapors. Ken's brother Jay and his wife, Tina, were so impressed when Josh went from smoking to vaping that they wanted to get involved in the business also, so now it's truly a family business.
