Reflective Photography, Worton, MD
I have been photographing the world around me for about 25 years. During that time, inspiration has grown, mutated, and redefined itself many times over. What I see today I most probably would not have seen yesterday nor will see tomorrow. Life is funny like that. If I have learned anything over the years, it is to always be ready for inspiration, to have camera in-hand, or at least within grabbing distance. I am not a particularly patient photographer, I am not great at sitting and waiting, but I am working on that.
My galleries include work from the beginning of my photographic journey to the present. Currently, I have a great love for the Impressionists. Alas, I can't draw worth a spit! So I use my camera and search for new ways to capture the world; sometimes, with great success. Though not exclusive to my goal, the Reflections Series most represents my attempt to pay homage to these great artists.
Sometimes moody; sometimes inspirational; sometimes nostalgic. This is how I would describe my work. My hope? I hope that as you browse the galleries, some spark of emotion will be ignited within--something you hold to tightly.
