The goal of the artist is to create unique and lasting flameworked glass jewelry and artwork. By utilizing innovative techniques and continuing her self taught education and experience, the artist finds deep meaning in each piece she creates. Each piece is developed from the artist’s individual experiences so that within the glass we can catch a glimpse of the world as seen through her eyes. The work is done through the use of a table mounted torch with specific oxygen and propane mixtures for the differing techniques. All pieces are created using Pyrex clear and colored rods finished with Pyrex frit (crushed glass).
