Retired School Psychologist, Lititz, PA
Started experimenting with abstract art at age 63, following retirement.
While in college studying to be an Industrial Arts teacher (later changing my interest and direction), I took a course entitled Art & Design. That is the extent of my experience/training. I knew then, however, that I actually felt some sort of "high" when what I put on paper looked good to me. I work in acrylics, inks and whatever other materials I can buy or find. I've been relatively successful (selling at least one painting) in several juried shows--receiving a Judges' Choice Award in one. After taking the last two years off, I'm now interested in exhibiting again.
I'm retired, as I stated above, after working 32 years as a School Psychologist for Intermediate Unit 13 in Lancaster and Lebanon Counties, Pennsylvania.
[*] I will provide a Profile Image and pictures of my artwork as soon as I get a decent camera for that purpose. [*]
